Hyson -  DIED, On the 7th inst., suddenly, George Washington Hyson, aged 3 years and 29 days, son of Solomon Hyson. Sleep on, sweet babe- forget thine earthly woes In the soft slumbers of a quiet tomb; I would not wake thee from thy sweet repose, Nor call thy spirit from its blissful home. Sad was the hour that summon'd thee away, Deep was the grief that wrung thy parents' hearts, But He who gave, forbade thy longer stay- Too pure, too bright, too beautiful for earth. Thy breast a stranger over will remain To malice, anger, enmity, or strife- To all the cares and ills of pain, That one incessant struggle render'd life.
